1. Remember: You never get a second chance to
make a good impression.
Have your home in
top condition before it is shown.
2. Front Entrance: A very important place!
Don't let prospective buyers find spider webs,
cracked paint, and rusted door knobs, a door
that sticks & creaks, or an unswept porch.
Paint, fix or wash railing, shutters,
eaves and especially the front door. A
fresh coat of paint or stain on the front
door really makes a difference, and a pot of
bright flowers and a new pretty door mat
would help too.
3. Have your house pressure washed!
Have the carpet cleaned!
4. Wash the Windows!
5. Lawn & Yard: Cut back overgrown shrubs
and hedges. Keep grass green, cut and edged.
Remove any unneeded or unslightly items.
Add fresh pine straw to your beddings.

furnished home will appear small.

your home appear much larger.

spotless clean and smelling fresh.
Repair
bathroom grout if needed.
9. Closets & Garage: Clean out & remove & store
unneeded items and clutter.
